\'Melbourne's Melbourne's Famous Boxing Legends

By Sandeep Varma

Every hardcore dude and Rocky fan wants to put on the gloves and step into 'the squared circle.' Historic boxing clubs like the Collingwood Boxing Club have an aura of weight. The brick walls hold stories of titans, boxing legends who earned glory by bashing the shit out of their rivals. We loved them for it. I cheer old-skool violence, not the Mik

Buzzcuts is proudly brought to you by Express Media, a not-for-profit organisation working with and for young people at a national level through mentorship programs, a quarterly magazine Voiceworks and arts projects such as Buzzcuts.

Express Media exists to enable young people to create their own culture. Focusing on writers and artists under 25, Express Media aims to create a space for self-expression and the exploration of a youth 'voice' rather than the parroting of a 'youth line'. Striving for recognition of the creative skills, ideas, concerns and opinions of young people, Express Media provides access to training, publishing and other creative opportunities in order to nurture the next generation of Australia's culture makers.

Express Media would like to thank Melbourne Fringe, Mary-Jane Fenech, Kath Letch and Archie Cuthbertson @ 3RRR, Bruce Berryman @ RMIT, Mel Sherridan @ Beat, Brett Cropley @ All Media, and Megan Gann
on for their assistance in presenting this project. We would also like to thank our many volunteers, without whom this project would not be possible.
